Led by talented aerialists Ria Murphy and Jessica Leong, this immersive retreat is designed for both seasoned practitioners and passionate improvers and intermediates looking to elevate their skills and experience the arts of aerial silks in a serene and inspiring environment over the course of 4 days and 6 nights.

Meet your Instructors: Ria and Jessica
Ria and Jessica are celebrated aerial artists known for their exceptional skill, innovative choreography, and inspiring teaching methods. With years of professional experience performing and teaching, they bring a wealth of knowledge and a deep passion for the aerial arts. Their supportive and dynamic teaching style ensures that each participant receives personalised attention and guidance.
Ria Murphy (she/her)
Ria is an Irish aerialist, specialising in silks and creating aerial performances and has a keen interest in developing site specific and outdoor public spectacle. She has worked as an aerial performer around the globe touring Japan, Mexico, Costa Rica. She is the founder and director of aerial school and performance company Aerial Cirque. Over the last few years, her favourite creations have included dancing on Irish sea cliffs for Tethered, vertical dance film, and ELEVATE, a large scale silks, vertical dance, & interactive projection shows on a 65m tower crane. Other festivals shows include: Amongst the Trees (St. Patrick’s Festival), Neverneverland (Irish Maritime Festival, tall ship show), and her one woman sold-out Fringe show Black Pitch Pitch Black. She is a member of the Dublin City Council Artists Panel and 2024 Irish Arts Council Bursary Award recipient.

Jessica Leong (she/her)
Silks Artist & Instructor at Aerial Cirque, Dublin
Jessica Leong is an Asian American aerialist based in Dublin, Ireland, specialising in aerial silks and rope. Her movement style draws on technical strength, dynamic sequencing, and a deep understanding of vertical theory and musicality.
Since 2020, she has been teaching aerial silks at Aerial Cirque, working with students of all levels, coaching showcases, mentoring new instructors, and co-leading an international masterclass in Sofia, Bulgaria. Her teaching blends structure, curiosity, and a deep respect for the learning process.
Jessica has performed at a wide range of events, from festivals and street performances to private corporate shows, and continues to develop her own practice through regular training with international coaches.
In 2024, she completed the 200-hour Cardinal Teacher Training and mentorship program. Her classes are thoughtful and challenging, grounded in technique with a focus on developing precision, confidence, and personal movement quality in the air.
Training Overview
Participants will engage in a rigorous yet rewarding schedule of warm ups, daily technique intensives with Ria and Jessica, delivered as two workshops per day with an hour break in between. The curriculum is carefully crafted to build strength, flexibility, technique, and artistry in aerial silks. After each day there be plenty time to recover by the ocean tidal pool with sea view and the large sunbathing terrace in the resort or explore around.

We’re excited to welcome you! Please read this policy carefully before booking to understand your options if plans change.
Booking & Payments
Your booking is confirmed once you receive our confirmation email. Full payment is due by the specified deadlines. Missed payments may result in cancellation and applicable fees.
If Your Plans Change
Deposits (€250) are non-refundable and non-deferrable
You may transfer your spot to another student (see below)
Refund Schedule
Based on how many days before the retreat (October 16) you cancel:
60+ days before (by August 17): 50% refund minus deposit
30–59 days before (by September 16): 25% refund minus deposit
Less than 30 days: No refund
All refunds are subject to a 3–5% card processing fee.
We do not offer refunds, credits, or discounts for late arrivals, early departures, or missed activities for any reason (including illness, injury, or travel issues).
Sending a Replacement
You may send someone in your place if:
They submit the registration form
They’re approved by us
The request is made at least 3 days before the retreat starts
You are responsible for arranging payment with your replacement.
How to Cancel or Transfer

If we must cancel, we’ll notify you promptly and refund all retreat payments made to us. We’re not responsible for external costs (for example, flights, non-retreat lodging, etc.)
Possible reasons include:

Unexpected issues beyond our control
Code of Conduct
We reserve the right to remove any participant for unsafe, abusive, or disruptive behaviour—without refund or compensation.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is required and should be purchased as soon as your booking is confirmed. It protects you in case of cancellation, illness, or travel disruptions. We also recommend checking your health insurance for international coverage and applying for a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC)card if eligible.
